SHINE stands for South Holland Immersive Network & Ecosystem.

We are the community for everyone in South Holland involved in immersive experiences (IX). Our goal? To build a powerful ecosystem in which companies and organizations can grow, knowledge is shared, and collaboration takes center stage – ensuring South Holland remains the place for immersive tech.

SHINE is currently an informal network, stemming from an initiative by the Municipality of Rotterdam and the Province of South Holland, together with various partners. The reason? This region is home to many companies, makers, and knowledge institutions active in the sector, but there was a lack of cohesion. SHINE provides that connection.
