David Regeczi is lead for the unit “Digital Society”, which supports policymakers and developers to understand and apply trustworthy principles to the development and deployment of new technologies. As a part of technological innovation, policymakers are looking to understand and quantify potential impacts—both positive and negative. We give policymakers tools and data that they can apply, helping them to future-proof policymaking.

David has 20+ years’ experience in public policy related to high-tech industries in both developed and developing economies. He looks to take lessons from around the world, which includes work for various national governments (including the Netherlands, the UK, and Finland); the European Commission and its agencies (including EISMEA and FRA); the European Parliament; the World Bank; and various development banks.
