Franziska Ritter is a scenographer and studied architecture at the TU Berlin and film and photography at the University of North London. She is co-founder and assistant professor of the study course Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum at TU Berlin and is currently writing her PHD in art history. She researches theatre architecture and technology and teaches exhibition design, scenography and theatre construction at various international universities. She founded digital.DTHG, lead the “Im/material Theatre Spaces” project about Immersive Technology in Theatre and is Commissioner for Digitality and New Technologies of the Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft.
