Jose Ferrer is a GP, working in primary and Emergency care since 2004. After searching for complementary treatments for his patients he took a masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2009 and then started using guided meditations during his sessions. That is why he started using VR to add an immersive feeling and help others to connect with their inner selves.
He joined educators in VR co-founding the XR Medical Healthcare Team, hosting events to promote the use of VR-XR in the medical field.
He´s a passionate virtual world builder since 2019, mostly dedicated to wellbeing and meditation. Recently he has started also creating worlds for art and commercial projects, always giving them a touch of his spiritual style.
Now he´s in the innovation team of his hospital, leading research projects with VR for mental health and for medical training.
