Kalle Rasinkangas is a new media artist working with interactive mediums, combining virtual and physical elements in his works. The main inspiration is to explore the ambiguous border, the similarities and the differences between the virtual and the physical. His work at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet revolves around developing the XR Stage tool that allows photorealistic visualisations of upcoming productions, but also developing new kinds of virtual art experiences in the context of opera and ballet.
