Humanist and art critic, Maria Grazia Mattei has been exploring digital territories for over thirty years. She has been investigating its frontiers and recognising its potential since the 1980s in a journey that, in 2005, culminated in Meet the Media Guru, a platform for discussion and public debate on innovation issues.

With the support of Fondazione Cariplo in 2018 Mattei gave birth to MEET, the first International Centre for Digital Art and Culture based in Milan. MEET is a place for meeting, experimentation and comparison that studies and disseminates digital in the belief that innovation is a cultural fact, even before being technological.
