Dr. Zaporozhets directs International Institute for Education in Psychology and Counseling at Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA, USA. She and her doctoral and MA mental health counseling students supervise Ukrainian clinicians in trauma work in Ukraine. This initiative allows about 200 Ukrainian clinicians to receive weekly supervision and education in clinical skills and traumatherapy. Current research topics include cross-cultural supervision, immediate stabilization procedures during wartime when safety cannot be fully achieved, EMDR group protocols effectiveness, and adoptation of VR teachnology with EMDR in Ukraine.
