Orestis is passionate about haptic technologies, IoT networks, and spatial XR computing, and has been active at the intersection of industrial and academic research for over 10 years. As Head of R&D Partnerships at Ultraleap, he currently oversees all external R&D collaborative activities and aligns them to internal business needs and future roadmaps. This includes leading Ultraleap’s participation in four flagship Horizon 2020 FET projects (Levitate, H-Reality, E-Textures, and Touchless) that resulted in several patents, papers, demos, and a book.
