Paul Mezier is the Executive Producer in charge of developing original IPs at Novelab, one of the most awarded immersive studios in Europe. He joined the company in 2020 just as the pandemic made everyone live and work from home, creating a surge in demand for media in general and interactive content in particular. With Novelab best positioned to ride the coming wave of immersive entertainment, Paul is leading the studio to capitalize on its history as a production service company and transition into a powerhouse creating original entertainment that is unique to the immersive medium.

 

Based in France and operating since 2009, Novelab has developed more than 60 immersive experiences in VR, AR and other interactive media, that together earned over 200 awards and distinctions from creative institutions such as SXSW, the Venice Biennale, Tribeca and the Sundance and Cannes film festivals. The studio is also the co-creator of the Google Cardboard, and today it employs around 50 people full time from 3 offices in France, developing interactive experiences for clients from all over the world, as well as making its own games for the future generations of immersive technology.
