Alejandra del Valle has spent nearly two decades helping European immersive technology projects find their funding and their footing – first from the lab, now from Brussels.

As Secretary General of the Virtual Worlds Association, she is the link between Europe’s immersive industry – from startups to Siemens – and the European Commission, steering the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda that directs where Horizon Europe funding goes.

Before Brussels, she ran LabLENI, the European Laboratory of Immersive Technologies, for 17 years, guiding R&D projects from idea to delivery. An industrial engineer with an MBA who works in four languages, she is the person you want in the room when international consortia get complicated.
