Bashira Cabbara has spent her career at the point where art, science, and new media collide.

Founder of SYNAESTHETICA, she builds immersive experiences that translate established creative IP into digitally accessible worlds – starting with a project based on the bestselling “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls”, backed by Rebel Girls Inc. and the FFF Film Fund Bavaria. Before that: gallery director, curator at the Munich Re Art Collection, and lecturer in art and multimedia at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.

Her pitch at ITW is about a gap in the market that nobody has properly filled yet – IP holders with iconic characters and worlds, and no in-house capacity to make them immersive. Bashira is building the studio that does exactly that.
