Carine De Potter knows what it means to work at the edge – between technology and the human body, between clinical care and emotional connection.

An ICU nurse, clinical sexologist and XR consultant, she brings over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience to the question of what immersive technology can and should do in healthcare. She co-founded Moodify, a non-profit connecting movement awareness with immersive environments, and led VR research for anaesthesiology training at Cerdecam.

At ITW, she brings something rarely heard on stage: a clinical perspective on what happens when technology simulates intimacy – from the ward, the ICU, and the therapy room.
