David de Jong has been building XR tools for healthcare from the inside out – starting as an 18-year-old care worker and developing into one of the Netherlands’ most recognised voices at the intersection of immersive technology and clinical practice.

He is Co-Founder of VRBieb and DARE Health Innovation, developing VR training with and for care professionals. An Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Global Brain Health, he also conducts research at Trinity College Dublin on spatial computing, haptics, and XR software.
