Haoran Yun is on a mission to make social VR safer – and she has the research chops to back it up.

As an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow at Inria in Rennes, she studies how people experience harassment and intimidation in virtual environments – and how machine learning can detect and stop it before it escalates. Her work spans computer science, human behaviour, and the social dynamics of spaces that didn’t exist a decade ago.

She holds a PhD from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and has conducted research across Europe and the US. She asks questions most people haven’t thought to ask yet – and that’s exactly why you want to hear her answer them.
