Ivan Novikov builds hardware that brings smell into immersive experiences – applying the same engineering rigour he once brought to autonomous vehicles and quantum neural networks.

Co-Founder and CTO of Scentient, Ivan holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from UCL and spent years at Massive Analytic developing sensor fusion and AI control systems for self-driving cars. He now leads the technical development of Scentient’s Escents device – low-latency, wearable scent technology designed to deepen immersive experiences and open new therapeutic possibilities.
