
Karolina is a Research Assistant and UX Designer at the CWI’s DIS group with a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction. Her research focuses on social XR, specializing in interaction design, application development and user experience evaluation. She has extensive experience developing social XR applications, particularly in the cultural heritage domain, where she explores ways to enrich experiences, making them accessible to a broad audience and allowing interaction with historical artefacts. She co-produced the social XR exhibition “Fashion Beneath the Skin”, showcased at NISV in June 2024. Through her work, Karolina aims to bridge technology and culture, ensuring digital platforms provide meaningful experiences for diverse audiences.
