ScenariX was founded by Krista Hoek, anesthesiologist–intensivist specialised in medical education.

During her clinical training, she saw a persistent gap in simulation-based education.

Traditional manikins and standardized patients were often artificial, expensive, and poorly aligned with real-life complexity. They rarely captured the intersection of:
• Clinical decision-making
• Communication under pressure
• Human interaction

She launched ScenariX as an independent initiative to explore how immersive, scenario-based technology could make medical training more realistic and accessible.

What began as a solo project evolved into a multidisciplinary team.
Today, ScenariX develops immersive training solutions grounded in clinical reality and modern medical education.
