María is a UX Research Scientist leading a team of HCI researchers focused on incubating novel technology to enhance avatar-mediated interactions in XR. Prior to joining Meta Reality Labs, María completed her PhD on the effectiveness of training in virtual environments at University College London and graduated in Multimedia Engineering by the University of Valencia.
