Nicolas Schaettel co-founded HypnoVR in November 2016 alongside Dr. Denis Graff and Dr. Chloe Chauvin. Prior to founding HypnoVR, Nicolas spent 20 years in the technology and digital industry in both product and business development roles.Since 2015, Nicolas has also been a shareholder in Culture Dot Digital and Ozango, 2 companies enabling cultural institutions to embrace the digital revolution. In 2014, Nicolas joined PayPal as Senior Director of Products, EMEA, in charge of leading and developing PayPal’s product strategy for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Prior to joining PayPal, Nicolas spent 5 years at Microsoft where he developed MSN’s digital media presence in France, was one of the founders of youmag, a mobile content service, sold to FIMALAC at the end of 2013 and developed Groupe M6’s mobile presence. Nicolas graduated from EDHEC Business School in France and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA.
