From neuroscientist and medical doctor specialising in emergency medicine to senior software engineer writing 3D engine pipelines, to say that Patrick has a multidisciplinary background would be an understatement. Initially writing full-stack software for better medical note-taking, he has a deep understanding of how users interact with software aided by the insight from his previous roles. Since shifting to the world of software development almost 10 years ago, he has specialized in low level graphics development for devices and the web. Working at KPV Lab, he led the development of the rendering engine for a WebGPU based data visualisation platform. Now with his brother, Adam, an XR industry veteran, he has co-founded Visibyl. Together they are using advancements in AI to create structured narratives with seamless human-computer communication.
