Rufus Baas is an expert in immersive technology and talent development. As program director of OASIS, he leads a national collaboration between six technical schools and 22 media and entertainment companies to train specialists in immersive applications. He previously succeeded with the XR Lab at Mediacollege Amsterdam and Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht. Baas promotes cooperation between vocational education and industry, focusing on preparing people and organizations for the evolving technological demands of the field.
