Black Box Mensch Project

20 minutes VR, 360 / 180

In the initial phase, BBM is planned as a single-user seated and standard room-scale VR experience for museums and educational institutions. There are plans to later present BBM as a 360 LBE and a s amixed-media performance in theatres.

Hand-drawn animations, bright colours and driving sound:
In fast-paced interactive episodes, users experience how dangerous radical ideologies are for our democratic society. Black Box Mensch wants to give as many people as possible emotional access to contemporary history and bring it to life with the help of the Vr Experience in order to better understand and grasp history.

With BBM, we want to do remembrance work – without having to re-traumatise those affected again. We give the victims back their dignity and at the same time challenge mainstream society: What Remains when Democracy Is under pressure?
