Coded Black is a narrative-driven 360 video that immerses players in the histories of anti-Blackness in the US and UK. Excerpted from the longer game for PC, the video explores portions of a plantation and a modern city, using historical documents and archival materials to confront themes of racism and resilience. It aims to provide an educational experience while encouraging personal reflection on the impact of racial injustice. The project is designed to be both an engaging exhibit and a teaching tool, making it a significant contribution to the discussion of Black history in XR.
