Fostering peace and cultural understanding through Virtual reality. Co(X)ist addresses ethnic tension in Ethiopia, stemming from egoistic views of superiority among ethnic groups. We focus on kids and youth, who have a growth mindset to understand and respect other cultures. Through a VR game, players explore different ethnic groups’ lifestyles, clothing, food, and celebrations. Implemented in schools for accessibility, the game will scale to include all 82 ethnic groups and expand across Africa, fostering cultural understanding and pan-Africanism.
