INNO2MARE aims to strengthen the innovation capacity and excellence of the Western Slovenian and Adriatic Croatian ecosystems through joint actions supporting the digital and green transition of maritime industries. The project will implement three R&I pilot projects focused on maritime education and training, marine traffic safety and security, and energy conversion and management efficiency.

These pilots will support further development and the transformation of research results into business opportunities through coordinated public and private investments. INNO2MARE will also promote citizen engagement, knowledge transfer, entrepreneurship, smart skills development, and talent attraction, involving more than 1,000 participants across the Quadruple Helix.

By sharing best practices with the Flemish maritime innovation ecosystem and connecting innovation actors across regions, the project will help reduce Europe’s innovation divide and foster a stronger innovation culture.
